On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Mr.Budiarsa Sastrawinata, World President, FIABCI (www.fiabci.org) deliver the Opening Speech for the Asian Real Estate Convention in the Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok.  The following is his speech.

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen.

 

It is a great pleasure for me to be the chair of this opening of the Asian Real Estate Convention.  I traveled from the USA via Japan to come to this Convention directly.  I arrived at this hotel at 2am in this morning.  I would like to thank Mr.Rusmin Lawin from Indonesia, President, FIABCI Asia Pacific and Dr.Sopon Pornchokchai, President, FIABCI-Thai to organize this knowledgeable convention for us.

 

As I see from the list of outstanding speakers, I am confident that you will learn a lot from this convention.  I also leant that there are some 106 participants from Myanmar let by Mr.Khin Muang Than, our coming FIABCI in Myanmar, some 20 participants from Vietnam let by Dr.Binh Doan Van and Mr.Tran Van Binh and some 15 from the Philippines led by Dr.Eduard Ong.  We have altogether almost 600 participants from 20 countries at this convention and FIABCI-Thai Prix d’Excellence Awards Gala Dinner tomorrow night.

 

You may know that FIABCI or International Real Estate Federation was founded in 1951 in Paris.  FIABCI is a worldwide business networking organization for all professionals associated with the real estate industry.  FIABCI has provided access and opportunities for real estate professionals interested in gaining knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other.  I personally encourage associations and individual involved in real estate to be our FIABCI members.  In Thailand, Dr.Sopon is more than happy to welcome you all to be members.  He said he is ready to rotate the position of FIABCI-Thai President to any who would like to help develop FIABCI.
