On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Dr.Sopon Pornchokchai, President, FIABCI-Thai (www.fiabci-thai.org) deliver the Speech reporting the arrangements for the Asian Real Estate Convention in the Berkeley Hotel, Bangkok.  The following is his speech.

Dear Mr.Budiarsa Sastrawinata, World President, FIABCI and distinguished guests.

 

Good morning and first of all allow me to Thank Mr.Budiarsa Sastrawinata, World President, FIABCI to kindly come to open this Asian Real Estate Convention.  I know that you just landed in Bangkok early this morning around mid night and came to this hotel at two o’clock from USA.  You have been working hard to help promote FIABCI and help develop our real estate profession worldwide.

 

Allow me to inform you that this event was suggested by an Indonesian like you, Mr.Rushmin Lawin, our FIABCI Asia Pacific President to organize this convention.  Therefore, we materialize the convention with fruitful topics of discussion.  We have 17 renowned speakers.  We have 20 real estate booths.  We have almost 600 participants from 20 countries.  In addition, in the evening of Friday, October 6, 2023, we will have FIABCI-Thai Prix d’Excellence Awards Gala Dinner where 36 projects will come to receive their awards.  Our Prime Minister kindly asked Mr. Julapun Amornvivat, Deputy Minister of Finance to deliver the awards to our 36 winners.  This would be a great honor for our FIABCI-Thai.

 

FIABCI-Thai started this FIABCI-Thai Prix d’Excellence Awards in 2019.  Then in 2020 during Covid-19 period, we are the only FIABCI Chapter who can organize this face to face gala dinner.  In 2021 and 2022, we can still organize this gala dinner as well.  This 2023 ceremony is our fifth consecutive year of face to face cerebration.

 

We are proud to help award those projects which deserve this honor.  We are proud to be an active chapter of FIABCI.  For FIABCI-Thai, we hope to contribute more for real estate industry in Thailand in particular.
