The 9th International Workshop: Inner City Slum Demolition - Beneficial for All will be organized during December 17 to 19, 2023 at the Thai Real Estate Business School, Bangkok, Thailand organized by FIABCI Thai & Thai Real Estate Business School.  Please see: https://www.trebs.ac.th/en/161/1

 

Come and exchange ideas and find out new solutions for solving slums and squatter settlements by slum demolition.  Slum demolition will help solve the problem of substandard housing, poor environment and poor living condition.  However, it can be done on the basis of physical, legal, financial and marketing feasibilities.  It would be beneficial for the dwellers as well as the society at large.

            A site of a former inner-city slum of 1,500 homes in late 1950's compared with the existing uses to ensure that it should not be kept.

            Bonkai Slum – Ban Eur Arthorn

            A high-rise condominium built for slum dwellers to compensate for the removal of them which is a good example of compensation.

17:00    End of the Program
18:00    Farewell Dinner on the Cruise.

 

Fee:

This fee includes the cost of lectures, materials, and field transportation, lunches and refreshments during the whole program. It does not include the cost for accommodation and travel arrangements.
