Esteemed leaders from the Vietnam National Real Estate Association,

Honored guests, experts, and representatives from International real estate

Associations,

 

Distinguished delegates, members of the Vietnam Association of Real Estate Brokers, both attending in person and joining us online,

Representatives of the media and all esteemed attendees,

 

Today, in the vibrant and proud spirit of Vietnam Real Estate Brokers' Day, I am deeply honored to represent the leadership of the Vietnam Association of Real Estate Brokers (VARS) in delivering the opening remarks at the Real Estate Brokerage Honoring Ceremony VARS AWARDS 2025 an annual event of profound significance for our professional community.

 

First of all, please allow me to extend my respectful greetings, sincere thanks, and best wishes for good health, success, and happiness to all of you here today.

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

In every stage of development, real estate continues to be affirmed as a key economic sector, one with broad and powerful influence across various other industries.

In that flow of development, real estate brokers play the role of a dynamic bridge- connecting supply and demand, partnering with developers, supporting clients, facilitating investment flows, and contributing to the market's stability, liquidity, and transparency.

In doing so, they create a ripple effect that positively impacts the broader economy.

 

In recent years, Vietnam's real estate market has faced no shortage of challenges.

Especially from 2022 to 2024, a combination of legal, credit, capital flow, and market sentiment factors placed immense pressure on the industry.

Supply was constrained, and real estate business operations were hampered.

Many enterprises were forced to downsize or even exit the market entirely.

Among them, real estate brokers those closest to the pulse of the market were among the most visibly and heavily affected.

 

Yet it is in times of adversity that professional courage is tested and proven.

Despite immense difficulties, many real estate trading floors and ethical, professional brokers stood their ground. They did not give up.

Instead, they persisted-seeking new opportunities, adapting flexibly, continuously learning, and innovating their approaches.

 

In doing so, they remained steadfast companions to both enterprises and clients, helping to sustain the market's flow.

 

As we move into 2025, we are witnessing encouraging signs of recovery:

• Legal bottlenecks are gradually being resolved,
• Public investment in strategic infrastructure continues to rise,
• Urban planning, administrative reform, and provincial mergers are creating new development spaces,
• And investment capital is returning, opening up more growth opportunities for the real estate market.

 

In this evolving context, the real estate brokerage profession continues to assert its irreplaceable role not only as the market's stabilizer, but also as a trust builder for investors, businesses, and clients alike.

 

Distinguished guests,

It is for this reason that, under the direction of the Vietnam Real Estate Association, and with the support of the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Association of Realtors is proud to organize the VARS AWARDS 2025 - Honoring Ceremony for the Real Estate Brokerage Profession.

 

Today's recognition is far more than just a title or award.  It is a well-deserved acknowledgment of enduring effort, genuine professional values, and a powerful source of encouragement for brokers to keep moving forward to continue affirming their role, responsibility, and courage in the process of market recovery and development.

 

VARS AWARDS is also a platform to spread exemplary role models and professional standards-models for all brokers to learn from and follow-so that together we can build a real estate market that is transparent, healthy, and sustainable.
